Topshop vs Anorexia critics vs Codie Young

We were compelled to have a say about this controversy towards an article striking down supermodel Codie Young on the Washington post. Basically, there were tasteless remarks from Anorexia professionals towards the new face of Topshop (Codie) in this photo below:

It was mentioned that because of the lack of expression in this photo, there is a clear indication of undereating. NOW hold up! How can a blank face indicate undereating? A model can portray anything through her face, may it be happy or fierce. It's part of the job. How can these campaigners use the "lack of expression" as a basis for undereating? This just sounds downright absurd and lacks concrete facts to support their statement.

Karen Easthall also mentioned that she looks ill and "I dread to think how she looks under her clothes.” This just sounds horrible! Codie's been booked by top designers all over Europe and USA which shows that fashion (which has a lot to do with clothes!) is certainly her forte. Karen Easthall went over the line of being judgmental and tactless towards another human being.

Models are obviously hired for their hanger looking physique. I'm certain that people who are not even in the industry would be fully aware of this. I mean let's get real. If models weren't hired for being skinny then there wouldn't be an occupation of such. There is a possibility that Codie is just naturally skinny and she should not be criticised for it.
